L’AUBERGE VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER TO SERVE 3-YEAR TERM ON ADVISORY BOARD
BATON ROUGE, La. December 10, 2012 – Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: PNK) is pleased to announce that Michael “Mickey” Parenton, Vice President and General Manager of L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge, has been named to the Advisory Board for the Louisiana Business & Technology Center.
An integral part of LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business, the Louisiana Business & Technology Center serves as a business incubator and has counseled thousands of entrepreneurs and small businesses in the state. Parenton became involved with the center in the spring of 2011 when discussions and construction began for L’Auberge Baton Rouge’s employment offices to be held in the facility.
Parenton oversees all operations at Pinnacle Entertainment’s newest property which opened in September. L’Auberge Baton Rouge features an expansive single-level, 74,000 square foot casino with nearly 1,500 slot machines, 50 table games and a unique casino bar with breathtaking views of the Mississippi River. The hotel includes 205 guest rooms, a rooftop pool and four distinctive dining outlets.
Parenton is committed to community involvement and holds civic leadership positions with the Southeast Super-Region Committee, Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, New Orleans Wine and Food Experience, Fore!Kids Foundation and Payton’s Play it Forward Foundation.

Parenton is a life-long Louisiana resident and a graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, La. and Northeast Louisiana University, now University of Louisiana at Monroe. He is married with two daughters.
